SODASM Careers Suite Technology
Each SODA product is designed using the new standard in web technology: Microsoft’s ASP.NET. SODA runs on Windows 2000 and 2003 servers and uses an MS SQL database. The .NET framework provides a secure, flexible and scalable development platform as well as supporting additional languages such as SOAP and XML.
With robust and scalable business logic, SODA is able to serve thousands of users and manage tens of thousands of documents. The business logic of the system runs on an application server, and is completely independent of the database content regardless of whether or not they share the same server. Based on user needs and workload, additional servers can be used to facilitate an efficient and even distribution of workload, and maintenance. Sky Interactive provides ongoing product updates to licensees.
SODA is designed to interface with, and exchange information with, other systems and databases such as SAP, Lotus (including Lotus client support), Oracle, JDBC, and UNIX.
Microsoft .NET Web Services are platform independent solutions, supporting all major solution providers IBM, Oracle, Intel and Microsoft.
Windows Server 2003 is the preferred operating system for secure, web-enabled applications and solutions. Windows Server combines powerful tools and technologies with ease of management, making it the ideal operating system platform for any business applications.
