Healthways - competitive analysis, web development and web technology

Challenge:
Healthways, an industry leader, was known for its managed care business, but needed to launch a new website in line with a strategic plan to rebrand and position itself as a leader in the wellness business. However, Healthways only had a limited amount of staff to manage the day-to-day needs of the site.

Solution:
Catalyst provided a detailed analysis of the competition, benchmarked against best-in-breed websites, providing Healthways with clear requirements for development of a Web 2.0 audience-driven website. Catalyst was then engaged to develop a site that sets the standard for Web 2.0 audience-driven websites, efficiently communicating with six primary and four secondary audiences. Within one click of the home page each audience receives information and timely material about Healthways that is relevant to their needs. The site was developed to make the most of currently available web technologies, allowing Healthways' staff to manage site updates, and ensure the material in each of the site's audience sections stays fresh.
